A record number of Americans has faced food insecurity during the COVID-19 pandemic. In a 2020 study, one in four U.S. families with school-age children reported household food insecurity.
Without access to school-provided meals, child hunger is a pertinent concern — and a top priority at Warford’s Classic Foods. We are an authorized vendor for Missouri’s Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). We have partnered with various nonprofits in the St. Louis area to meet the nutritional needs of both children and adults.
We have also adapted our offerings to best serve schools, after-school programs, and child and adult care facilities during the COVID-19 era. We offer delivery of prepackaged meals as well as on-site food services, following strict safety protocols.
